E2 diet says NO. It is almost pure animal protein, which is not good for you– harsh on the kidneys and leeches calcium from the bones. (page 26)
There are plenty of ways to substitute for eggs, depending on the use, and other foods to have instead for breakfast, etc. Give tofu a try, it is very versatile.

FYI, the Engine 2 basics:
No meat
No dairy
No added oils
Nothing with more than 2.5 grams of fat per 100 calories
All the whole grains, plants, and legumes you can stuff in your gullet
Be on the look out for:
Oil. If it says oil on the label, leave it off the menu
High fructose corn syrup
Food products with more than 6 ingredients
Perservatives. Ingredients you can’t pronounce
