No the human body doesnt adapt to anything. The human mind can adapt to changing conditions but not the body. We are built to mainly intake proteins(21 feet of small intestines) not simple sugars and carbs. The body easily digest them cause thats the food that puts fat on your body. Summer berries and plants create sugars we used to eat them cause they would fatten us for winter times, now we eat them year round due to hot houses.

So your talking about adaption from the whole human race or each individual human? that doesnt make sense or logic. Whether you yourself are gonna adapt to it from birth or not. The individial human life span for 1 person is about 70-80yrs old at least in western life. But how does adaption apply only to ALL humans put together? Your existance clock starts from birth… HOW does the process of adaption happen? It happens though each individual person not as a whole. see how its not logical?

We lived without the light bulb for millions of years (OK Less than that, but you know what i’m getting at.) and we’ve adapted for that long. The light bulb is a new invention its only 200 years old. So we haven’t fully adapted with the light bulb YET. So once we live with the light bulb longer than without it then we will have adapted. Other than that we will keep getting sicker.

Thing is that Caveman era/time period isnt “nature” or how nature intended humans to be. The “caveman” era is situational/circumstancial. Thats the way things were then due to they’re own situation. Our bodys as humans adapt to our situation. Things are different now, so we adapt differently. What happened in the past and how people lives doesnt really matter for us now atm. We dont live in caves or are in the same situation as they were. We’ve adapted….

wow so i now know that its the light that has me fat, “goes to turn off light”

  7. flacudoc March 16, 2010 8:27 pm

his videos are pretty good and pretty informative. not sure how i feel about this one, but its not just fat that makes you fat. cortisol, stress, and insulin resistance do play a large part in what makes you fat.
if it was true that only fat makes you fat, then we Americans would all be thin. we eat less fat, and have more diet food today than ever before, but are larger than ever before.
its not as simple as “fat makes you fat”

    This is the SUDO-science guy.

Sugar does NOT turn to cholesterol.
Sugar CANNOT become Fat … That is chemically imposible.

    FAT turns to Fat.

Cholesterol in Fats becomes cholesterol in your fat…and in your viens and your arteries.

Fat that you eat makes you fat…NOTHING to do with what time you go to sleep.

  16. Cyanoctane March 17, 2010 1:03 am

@bphutchins, we were put on this planet to hunt and farm not to go around in cars and do work. We survied for millions of years before the light bulb so why cant we do it now. We dont need the light bulb to live it just a part of our lives and we cant get rid of it.

  17. bphutchins March 17, 2010 1:19 am

why can’t we live without artificial light? are you retarded? take a moment and think about that statement and all of the things that wouldn’t exist.

  18. EmXtraMoney March 17, 2010 1:35 am

@moomoodeath, ok what about people who live in alaska? Where the sun is out almost all day in one season and is down almost all in day in other seasons? Are they just in an unfortunate situation? I guess it would just be what you teach your body, if you go to bed at 3pm everyday, and wake up 11pm, then that will be your “healthy” sleeping time.

  19. moomoodeath March 17, 2010 1:48 am

it’s time in relation to when the sun goes down, which is why we have time zones in the first place, or else the sun would set at 4 in the afternoon in someplaces. The concept is basing your sleep around the day instead of just getting the propper number on hours whenever

  20. EmXtraMoney March 17, 2010 1:57 am

Actually if sleeping from 1am to 9am is not the “proper time” to sleep, then how does your body know what time zone you are in. If someone on the west coast goes to sleep at 10pm, it’s actually 1am for me. I think you just need 8 hours of sleep, doesn’t matter when those 8 hours are.

  21. TheHashBot March 17, 2010 2:42 am

    I agree.. wise man.

  22. phoxwar March 17, 2010 3:00 am

  24. TheRealWm March 17, 2010 4:22 am

er… because of when I’ve worked I’ve slept 8 hours from like 7:30 am on and had no trouble recovering.
